In 1989 Komatik was founded and is located in Carlsbad Springs, Ontario, Canada. We found sledding equipment very inaccessible and expensive for the Canadian sled dog enthusiast at that time. Therefore, we researched, developed, produced and marketed our own line of sled dog equipment. Since then we have crossed paths with thousands of enthusiasts.

Equipment produced by former sledders, that is our strength as a sled dog supply business. We used to race our own equipment and we believe in its durability, quality and value.
